We build lasting relationships with the people we serve—and those relationships shape how we engineer, communicate, and deliver.
Every project that carries our name also carries our word. If we don’t get something right, I want to know about it — and I want us to make it right. That’s not a slogan, it’s how we expect to be held accountable, starting with me.
[ President Name ] · President, Hawkins-Weir Engineers placeholder — to be finalizedWe believe the best engineering starts with trust. It’s the foundation of how we work with our clients, how we work with one another, and how we approach every complex project.
It’s why our clients keep coming back to the same partner, project after project—because they know exactly who’s going to pick up the phone.
FPO photoThey told us the truth about our system before we spent a dollar — what the state would fund, and what it would take to keep it running for decades. That’s why we keep calling them back.

The obstacle wasn’t a pump; it was a permit. We led a permit modification that raised peak capacity from 72 to 94 MGD and removed 34 million gallons of required storage — saving ratepayers more than $10 million before design began.
Four Delta communities faced yellow water and failing equipment. Our feasibility study charted a path off the failure list — helping unlock roughly $12 million in funding, with construction completed in 2025.
Sparks Regional Medical Center needed a 142,000‑square‑foot expansion — new ICU, emergency room, and imaging — without ever closing. We coordinated the utility relocations, grading, and drainage, and designed a parking and access plan that kept the hospital running 24/7 through construction.
We believe in taking care of our people, giving them meaningful work, and creating an environment where they can grow. Because when our people thrive, our partnerships—and our communities—get stronger.
